If the differences in chocolate taste were due only to various kinds of cocoa beans than chocolate taste test would be boring. Fortunately, there is big difference between cocoa beans form different regions, even if it was bred from the same type of cocoa-tree. This makes the chocolate taste test especially interesting.

Special soil and climate characteristics of a certain country not always define the chocolate taste in full. That is why cocoa growing in the same region and even at the same plantation is the big game for all the tasters. Nevertheless, it makes sense to differentiate cocoa from Madagascar and Venezuela or cocoa from Trinidad and Sri-Lanka.
